eDrops - Bouncing Balls Music App Studio App Reviews

Now that its free I guess its a bargain ... I paid for this app hoping more features. The developper added the features but in another app (edrops pro) that I have to buy again .... What a deal ! .....

Just made the download and checked the functions of the app. It s amazing.

Backgroundmusic sounds horrible and adding more sounds doesnt make it better, but worse. No music can be made with this.

I bought this app when it was a paid product. Now its been renamed "Free eDrops" and the new development work is being put into paid spin-offs. Pretty sad way to treat your early adopter customers and no way to build loyalty amongst users. In the end not a great loss as the product has never worked properly and is quite bug-ridden, but now my hopes of seeing it mature have been dashed by the cash-grab of spin off sister apps. Will be avoiding this developer in the future. tldr: cool concept, buggy execution, disrespectful developer.

Most of the screen is cut off (based on the interface examples in the app store.) This means that you cant access the controls. Im getting a refund.

Get some really nice electronic grooves going with this cool app. Its fun, easy and it works! No matter what level musician you are, you will absolutely smile when you start to use it! Jordan Rudess

No sound?

Some of the buttons disappear when you drag them onto the screen. Then I have to reboot. I understand the pattern save and load page but rarely do the patterns save. The concept is nice but mostly a novelty. Oh well.. Would have given it more stars if it actually functioned. Oh well--for free ok..for pay no way..

If you like creating music, but are not a musician, cannot work a drum machine, go no further. E drops $ e drops nature have come to your aid & rescue, once I started, I heard the familiar"its supper time" I had a difficult time putting this down. Endless fun, possibilities, & although I own Yahmaha drums, a Musser vibraphone, & & various Latin Percussion instruments, this can bring out the musical expression in anyone. Get one, both, or all. They are fun & worth it. I own the 4S & have had no problems. But please, a bigger manual. Thank you. I want the pro one now. Thank you

Basically what the title says.

Like others have said, its a little unintuitive. Thats not a major problem. What IS a problem is that some menus and buttons are completely illegible. Im going to guess that its because Im on a non-Retina Touch....but if the UI needs a Retina display, then the requirements should state that.

You have got to check this app out. It rules!
